Dr. Ilan Oshri is the author of Offshoring Strategies: Evolving Captive Center Models (2011, MIT Press) and the co-author of The Handbook of Global Outsourcing and Offshoring (2nd Edition 2011), Outsourcing Global Services (2008), Knowledge Processes in Globally Distributed Contexts (2008) and Standards-Battles in Open Source Software (2008). His work was published in numerous magazines and journals including The Wall Street Journal, Business History, MISQ Executive, Communications of the ACM, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, Management Learning, Journal of Strategic Information Systems and others. His work was featured on BBC Radio 4, Business Week, and Financial Times. His main research interest  lies in the area of learning, knowledge processes and innovation in global contexts. Ilan is a regular speaker in international conferences and a keynote speaker in corporate events and seminars. He is the European Editor of  JIT and also the co-founder of the Global Sourcing Workshop.
